Bobby A. Gunn, Sr.

Bobby Gunn, Sr., at the age of 94 years, died April 25, 2020 and a private family gathering was held at Johnson Funeral Home.  A cemetery service was held following, conducted by son-in-law, Owen Bellon, and military personnel.  Dad arranged the details of the funeral service he desired to have.  To honor his wishes, a memorial service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home, Lake Charles on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at 2:00 PM .  Visitation will be held at 12:00 prior to the service.

Our family wishes to thank Dr. Mark Williams, who with his excellent surgical skill and compassionate care for many years, helped Dad to live a long life.  Hearfelt thanks to our church families of Trinity, Bethel, East Ridge, and Dad’s church, Boulevard Baptist.  Their show of God’s kindness and prayers have helped us through this most difficult time.

His son, Bobby Gunn, Jr. died two weeks following his Dad.
