Emmett Blake Manuel

Emmett Blake Manuel, infant, entered into Heaven Sunday, October 16, 2016 following three weeks of care in Children’s Hospital of New Orleans.

Emmett was born August 18, 2016 in a local hospital. He was a happy, alert baby and was very well loved. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, AmyJo Manuel of Lake Charles; father, Patrick Jones of Lake Charles; paternal grandparents, Eugene Jones and wife Cindy of Creole and Jann Corley of Singer; maternal grandmother, Susan Fruge of Lake Charles; paternal great-grandmother, Shelby Holloway of Gonzales and maternal great-great grandmother, Barbara Soileau of Lake Charles.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Norbert Soileau and aunt, Crystal Fruge.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 20, 2016 in the Johnson Funeral Home. Reverend Gary Evers will officiate. Interment will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation Thursday will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service in the funeral home.
