Joyce M. Ardoin

Joycelyn Henry Ardoin, 83, of Lake Charles passed away Monday, January 17, 2022 from a local hospital.

Mrs. Ardoin was born April 12, 1938, to Juluis Henry and Orelia Guidry in Rayne, LA. She was a graduate of  Sulphur High School. She worked at Mullers Department Store in Lake Charles, LA.  She enjoyed dancing and listening to Cajun music.  She also enjoyed sharing her love of cooking and bowling with her family and friends. Mrs. Ardoin was a faithful member of St. Margaret Catholic Church.

Mrs. Ardoin is survived by her sons, Randy Ardoin (Karen), and Kevin Ardoin; brothers, Elwood Henry and Eldridge Henry; sisters Florence Slominski and LuAnna Drounette; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Joseph Ardoin; her son, Elmer Joseph Ardoin Jr.; her parents; and her grandchild, Bethany Ardoin.

Graveside services will be at 11:00AM Friday, January 21, 2022, at St. Joseph Cemetery #2 in Rayne, LA under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation Thursday will be from 4:30 PM until 8:30 PM at The Vineyard Church, located at 9541 Gulf Highway, Lake Charles, LA.
