Robert Warren Stratton

Robert Warren Stratton, 63, of Pearland, TX, died at 10:02 AM on Thursday, March 10, 2016 in a Pearland, TX hospital.

 

Mr. Stratton was born October 28, 1952 in Lake Charles, LA, where he lived most of his life until moving to Baton Rouge in 1998 and then Pearland, TX in 2008. He was a 1970 graduate of Lake Charles High School and received his Bachelor degree in Engineering from the University of Louisiana – Monroe. He worked for many years at Industrial Construction and for over a decade at Performance Contractors. He was an expert in his field and trained numerous people throughout the years. Mr. Stratton was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Lake Charles and most recently a member of Clear Lake Chinese Church in Webster, TX. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a prize winning bass fisherman. He will always be remembered for his great work ethic, his generous heart and the support he has always given to his children.

 

Mr. Stratton is survived by his wife of eight years, Ping Hao Stratton of Pearland, TX; daughter, Adrienne Stratton of New Orleans, LA; son, Andrew Stratton of Bentonville, AR; sister, Patricia Stratton of Natchitoches, LA; and a host of co-workers, church family and cousins that loved him dearly.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elton and Altee Stratton.

 

His funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Benjamin Lam will officiate. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and continue on Sunday from 12:00 PM until the start of the service.

 

Pallbearers for the service will be David Hakey, Jerry Harrell, Jeff Harrell, Charles Harrell, James Harrell, and Stewart Harrell. Honorary pallbearer will be Mahlon Harrell.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
