Aaliyah Renee Courville

Aaliyah Renee Courville, 2, of Lake Charles, LA, gained her wings in the Kingdom of Heaven on Monday, May 30, 2016.

Aaliyah was born on November 11, 2013 in Lake Charles. She loved fishing, listening to music and dancing with her Mom, playing with her PawPaw and playing dolls and Barbies.   Her very favorite things were candy, cupcakes, Minnie Mouse and Frozen.  Aaliyah’s time was very limited but her smile will be remembered always.

Left to cherish Aaliyah’s memory is her mother, Lauren Renee Courville and fiancé (Dad) David LeDoux, of Lake Charles; father, Allen Gregg Stoddard of Sweet Lake; brother, Colin Stoddard of Sweet Lake; sister, Madisyn Stoddard of Sweet Lake; maternal grandparents, Marty Courville of Lake Charles, Melanie Key of Lake Charles, and Dale LeDoux, of Lake Charles; paternal grandfather, Greg Stoddard of Lake Charles; maternal great grandparents, Carla Brown and husband Thomas of Deridder, and Paul Rice and wife Philomena of Oceanside, CA; three aunts, Courtlynn Courville of Lake Charles, Samantha Courville of Lake Charles, and Amanda Brassuer and husband Jason of Lake Charles.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, June 02, 2016 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel.  Father Matthew Cormier will officiate.  Interment will follow in Consolata Cemetery.  Visitation Wednesday will be from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will continue Thursday from 8:00 AM until the time of service in the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Herbert and Gertrude Courville and paternal grandmother, Ramona Quirk.
