Aaron Wade Spoon

Aaron Spoon, 48, of Sulphur, LA died peacefully in his home with his wife by his side on July 22, 2021. Aaron was born on October 31, 1972, in Sulphur, LA to Johnny Bertrand (Brenda) and Linda Spoon.

Aaron enjoyed many things in life including, music, traveling, and being around family and friends. He was known for his generosity, loving ways, and innate ability to experience everything to the fullest when taking trips or doing anything involving family time. Aaron was known for his silly and funny ways with his children. He was a rigger and had a passion for all the work he has done in the Industrial Construction Industry.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 30 plus years, Merline Spoon; three children, Devyn Broussard and Zachary Prejean, Morgan Spoon, and Naysa Miller; 6 grandchildren, Emma, Dallas, Layna, Gage, Addyson, and Drycen; brothers, Shannon Spoon, John Lewis Bertrand; and one stepbrother, Raymond Arabie.

He is preceded in death by two siblings, Paula Richard and Damon Spoon; father, Johnny Bertrand; and mother-in-law, Patricia Landry.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 29, 2021, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of service on Thursday at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Cremation will follow services.
