Adam Michael Duhon, 33, of Lake Charles died suddenly September 4, 2013 at Lafayette General Hospital from the result of a Heat Stroke.
Adam was born in Lake Charles on October 24, 1979. He was a 2001 graduate of Parkview Academy and employed as an electricians helper through the IBEW Local 861. He was a former employee of E.J. Citizen Band and Satellite T.V. and C C Audio, Video and Appliance. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was extremely knowledgeable about movies. He was of the Christian faith and a member of Fairview United Methodist Church.
Preceding him in death are his grandparents, Elton (Sr.) and Lillie Gormly Duhon, and Andrus Demeritt; aunts Nola Jane Demeritt and Patsy Cochran. Those left to honor and cherish his memory are parents, Thomas Michael and Valrae Demeritt Duhon, Lake Charles; brother, Andrew Duhon and wife Amber, Lake Charles; two sisters, Amy Wilkinson and husband Garrett, League City, Texas and Ashley Duhon, Lake Charles; nieces and nephews, Christopher Duhon, Ethan Wilkinson, Chasity Peloquin, Alex Duhon and Chase Wilkinson; grandmother, Allie Mae Demeritt, Lake Charles; aunts and uncles, Elizabeth Duhon Hanson, Lake Charles, Elton Duhon, Jr., Lake Charles, Sandra Bailey and husband A.C., Zachary, LA and Terry Mudd, Lake Charles; as well as a host of cousins and close friends.
Funeral Services will be at 3:00 PM Saturday September 7, 2013 at Johnson Funeral Home with the Drs. Richard Baggett and David Dewitt officiating. Visitation will be today, Friday September 6 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens.
