Addison Grace Welch

Addison Grace Welch, 3 months, born June 30, 2010 in Lake Charles, died Wednesday, October 6, 2010 in Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans, LA following a courageous battle with a heart defect.

Addison's little life, while so brief, brought great joy to those who loved her.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her parents, Brent Welch and Lauren Hilliard of Lake Charles; paternal grandparents, Howard Welch and wife Betty of Lake Charles; maternal grandparents, Rick Hilliard and wife Yun of Houston, TX; paternal great- grandparents, LeeRoy and Edna Douget of Lake Charles and Norman Bell of Sulphur; maternal great- grandparents, Preston and Sherry Hatsfelt of Sulphur and Jeannine Garoutte of Lake Charles; two uncles, Keith Welch of Dallas, TX and Brian Welch and wife Michelle of Westlake; one aunt, Heather Lankford and husband Matthew of Lake Charles and a special cousin and dear friend, Amber Morgan and wife Wendi Smith of New Orleans.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, DeeDee Douget Welch; maternal grandmother, Michelle Hatsfelt; paternal great- grandparents, Beuford and Margaret Welch and Mary Bell and maternal great- grandparents, Dale and Virgie Hilliard and Evelyn Stewart.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 PM Sunday, October 10, 2010 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon George Carr will officiate. Interment will follow in Westlake Memorial Park. Visitation Sunday will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service in the funeral home.
