Agnes Ozella Prine Halley

Agnes Ozella Prine Halley crossed over into her loving Savior's arms on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at High Hope Care Center at the age of 93. Ozella was born January 19, 1917, in Columbia, MS, to Edgar and Mary Prine. She married Lester E. Halley in 1934 and they spent the next 64 1/2 years together, until Lester died in 1999. Her passions were her family, baking, canning and flowers in her yard. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in DeQuincy. She was preceded in death by her husband Lester, her daughter, Elaine Shcneider, and her parents and siblings. Survivors are two daughters and their husbands, Sonja and Jerry Hufstedler, Janelle and Tim Dougay, all of Sulphur, grandsons, Kevin Brewer and wife, Jenny, T.J. Dougay, Bennon Dougay and wife, Stephanie, and Chris Dougay all of Sulphur. Granddaughters, Debralee Crunk, Dana Short and husband, Gary, D'Nita Noah and husband, Robert, all of Texas, step-granddaughter, Tina Enis of Texas. Great-grandchildren, Jason Crunk and wife, Fallon, Dane Crunk and wife, Sally, Steven and Sarah Short and Ryan Noah all of Texas and Brandon Brewer of Sulphur, step-grandson P.J. Davidson, of Texas. Great great grandchildren Drew, Kate, Cash and Blake Crunk of Texas. Services will be at Robison's Funeral Home Chapel in Sulphur at 2pm, Friday, July 24th, with visitation Thursday 4-9pm and Friday 10am until time of service. Burial will be at Mimosa Pines in Carlyss. Bro. Kevin Richard will officiate.
