Alana Jo Turner, 67, of Vinton, LA passed away on august 4, 2020 in a local hospital.
Alana was born on January 2, 1953 to Joseph, Jr. and Elsie Turner. She was a lifelong resident of Vinton, LA and was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Vinton, LA and enjoyed diamond painting and crocheting as well as fishing.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 24 years, Clay Morvant; her daughter, Deonne Berry and Brian; her son, Corey Berry; and her bonus daughter, Lisa Patin and Willie; four grandchildren, Desirȇe White and Clint, Alexis Jones and Cody, Taylor Leonard and Richard, Kirkland Thibodeaux and Raven, and Bonus granddaughter, Harlee East; thirteen great grandchildren ; three siblings, Annette Thompson and Randy, Christine Rudd and Eddie, Michael Turner and MT; the parents who gave her life, Ammie Lee Bailey Sr. and wife Jeanette and Irish Ruth Harrison; the father of her children, Charles Berry; many nieces and nephews; and the entire Berry family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph, Jr., and Elsie Turner; brother, Ammie Lee Bailey Jr.; one great grandson, Kaspen Leonard; and one great granddaughter, Everleigh East.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday August 12, 2020 at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will begin from 10:00 AM until time on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Burial will be at Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly, LA.
Pall bearers will be Kirkland Thibodeaux, Cody Jones, Brian Chmev, Richard Leonard, Ricky Berry and Taylor Leonard.
