Albert "Aj" J. Doiron, Jr.

Albert "AJ"J. Doiron Jr, 95, Of Lake Charles, LA died Sunday, July 26, 2015 in his residence surrounded by his loving family. Albert was born on January 25, 1920 in St. Martinville, LA to Albert and Blanche Doiron Sr. He was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles, LA and was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church. Mr. Doiron was a 1937 graduate of Lake Charles High. He was also a proud Navy WWII veteran. He enjoyed working outside, camping, and making improvements around his home. Mr. AJ is survived by his three loving children, Susan Doiron Caldwell and husband Bill of Lake Charles, LA, Mark Doiron of Lake Charles, LA, and Kevin James Doiron of Moss Bluff, LA; three grandchildren, Cindy Caldwell Ledet and husband Chris of Lake Charles, LA, Donovan James Doiron and wife Tisha of Lake Charles, LA. and Aimee' Doiron Jackson and husband Nathaniel of The Woodlands, TX; nine great grandchildren; two great- great- grandchildren; and one brother, Lt. Colonel (Ret) Henry Dudley Doiron. He is preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife of 64 years, Betty Dupuis Doiron and a sister, Lorraine Doiron Shaw. Services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at St. Margaret Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm with a rosary being prayed at 6:00 pm Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will resume at 8:00 am until 9:30 am Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Gardens. Father Marcus Johnson will officiate services.
