Albert Meaux, Jr.

Albert "Buddy" Meaux, Jr., 52, of Lake Charles past away Saturday, August 9, 2014 in Lafayette General Hospital. Born May 4, 1962 to Albert and Elma Meaux. Buddy was a jack of all trades. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix. He loved motorcycles, music, and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by two sons, William Adam Meaux of Gillis, LA and Devin Adkins of Austin, TX; seven sisters and their spouses, Azporie Smith and Jim, Diana Meaux, Linda Sawyer and Gary, Denise LeBlanc and Willis, Sandy Lopez and Raymond, Alwona Oldenkamp and Fred, and Lavaria Baham and Lynn; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and oldest two sisters. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, August 14, 2014 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Jerry Snider will officiate. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will begin on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM and will continue on Thursday from 8:00 until the start of the service.
