Alexis Kaitlyn Robinson, 13, of Lake Charles passed away Wednesday, March 04, 2015. Alexis was born and raised in Lake Charles and attended the 8th grade at Hamilton Christian Academy where she was on the Volleyball Team. She found Hamilton Christian to be a good place for her, finding comfort in her teachers really caring about her and feeling closer to God after services. She also enjoyed summer camp at Camp Pearl and Camp Hardtner. Alexis was a great student; artistic, creative and loving with hopes of being accepted to Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts. Her ambition was to be a Computer Programmer or Engineer. Alexis was a girl of many talents, skateboarding, teaching herself to play the piano and was learning Tae kwon do at Master Choi's. She was close to her Mother and Step Father. Alexis greatest love had come to be her little dog, Katie Belle, that she adopted from 4 Paws Society and loved to pamper. She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Carly Robinson Haftmann and husband Christopher of Lake Charles; grandparents, Doug and Gay Gehrig, Larry and Sherree Robinson and Thomas and Sherry Haftmann, all of Lake Charles; and many cousins and friends. Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Sunday, March 8, 2015 at St. Michael and all Angels Episcopal Church under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Reverends Debra Heathcock and Dr. Ray Shawa will officiate. Interment will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation Saturday will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will continue Sunday from 12:00 PM until 2:45 PM in the funeral home.
