Alison Landry

Alison Landry, 46 years old, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022 in a local hospital.  She was born on April 21, 1976 to Joseph Landry and Deborah Pittman in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Alison lived in Lake Charles her entire life.  She was a graduate of Barbe High School.  She played clarinet in the Barbe High School Marching Band.  She graduated from SOWELA with an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice.  Alison was a member of Trinity Baptist Church where she attended the Mercy and Grace Sunday Morning Bible Study.  She enjoyed cooking, shopping, reading, cross stich and visiting with friends.  She never met a stranger, and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish her memory are, her mother, Deborah Pittman; her sister, Erin Landry; Baby, her cat, whom she affectionately called “Piglet,” and many friends and other family.  She was preceded in death by her Father, Joseph Landry.

Her funeral will be held at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 in the Trinity Baptist Church Chapel located at 1800 Country Club Road, Lake Charles, LA.  Rev. Steve James will officiate.  Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.  Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 AM until the start of the service at 12:00 Noon.

The family would like to give special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Christus St. Patrick Hospital for their compassionate care.
