Allie Ruby Snider was born August 17, 1930 to Eugene and Lucy Cruseturner in Alto, Texas. She went to be with the Lord on December 18, 2014. She was married to Rev. DeVance R. Snider for 58 years. She is survived by her two sons Don R. Snider married to Sherry McNabb Snider and Jerry Wayne Snider married to Connie Savant Snider, all of Moss Bluff. She has six grandchildren, Rev. Don Snider, Jr. (Sheila) of Vinton, David (Angie) Snider and Daren (Candace) Snider of Moss Bluff. Rev. Jerry (Hope) Snider of Lake Charles, Lesa (Steve) Delaunais and Julie Snider Pourteau of Moss Bluff. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She is survived by one brother, Jeston (Wanda) Cruseturner of Moss Bluff and two sisters, Alice Snider of Lufkin, Texas and Betty Bailey of Tyler, Texas along with a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Rev. DeVance R. Snider, two sons Bobby and Terry Snider, her parents Eugene and Lucy Cruseturner, and two sisters, Clara Whisenant and Annie Ruth Hughes. She and her husband spent many years of their lives pastoring and loving people. They were visionaries and church planters. They made many sacrifices in doing the work of the Lord, planting more than 7 churches in Texas. They spent their last twenty years of ministry pastoring the Pentecostal Church of Evangeline, Louisiana. She lived her life serving others. Proverbs 31 says it best, "She is more precious than rubies." Visitation will be held Friday, December 19, from 6-9pm at Eastwood Pentecostal Church. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, December 20, at 1pm at Eastwood Pentecostal Church officiated by Rev. Aaron Lopez, Rev. Don and Jerry Snider Jr., and Rev. Ricky Treece.
