Allison "Al" Ledoux, Sr.

Allison Dale ‘Al’ LeDoux, 70, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2021 in a Lafayette Hospital.

Al was an independent truck owner/operator and drove his 18-wheeler cross country for over 46 years. His “retirement” job was driving dump trucks for a local company.  He loved fishing and watching old westerns. Al was known to cook up some wonderful meals on his pit. He will be remembered for his smile and big hugs, his love of making others laugh, and his great love for his family and friends.

Left to cherish is memory are his wife of 50 years, Deborah “Debbie” LeDoux; children, Dale Ledoux and wife, Jackie, of MN, Angie Miller and husband, Derrick, of  Church Point, LA; and Heaven Nicole LeDoux of Sulphur; twelve grandchildren, Monique, Ambur, Ashley, Leslee, Kassidy, Micah, Alyssa, Jasmine, Elizabeth, Nicole Cheyenne, and Arin; eleven great-grandchildren, Morgan, Jennah, Ava, Grayson, Logan, Lorenzo, Leeanna, Marcella, Aydan, Journee and Lilith; two brothers, Dudley LeDoux of Guam and Brian LeDoux of Sulphur; chosen sister, Sabrina Graham; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Murrell LeDoux.

Funeral services will be held at 3pm, Saturday, June 12, 2021 in Johnson and Robison Funeral Home of Sulphur. Rev. Russell Beard and Pastor Josh Carrier will officiate.  Visitation will be 10am – 3pm on Saturday.
