Amanda Vigé

Amanda Vige’ was born Oct 21, 1980 in Corpus Christi, TX to the late Feliciano R. Vega Sr. and Ramoncita Rodriguez.

Amanda was a gift to anyone graced by her spirit and soul. Children and animals were the reason she lived and would do anything to protect them. She lived hard, partied harder, but she loved the hardest. She prided herself most raising her children to have honor and respect. Pouring love into everybody she came across, with her open ear and heart. To know her, is to love her.

Her favorite local band was TJ Gauthreaux & the Louisiana Soul and her favorite national band being John Montgomery. Which she was lucky enough to be married by his tour bus while his band ate crawfish. Her favorite friend, Buddy Russ officiated her wedding ceremony on May 13, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Feliciano R. Vega Sr. and Ramoncita Rodriguez

She is survived by her beloved husband, Jerald Vige’; children, Andrew Smithwick, Jocelyn Beltran and Valerie Beltran; grandchildren, Jasper, Maverick, Adalyn; siblings, Mary Jane Gonzales (Alexander), Elizabeth Odom (Steven), Feliciano Vega Jr. (Tesla).
