Amelia Martin Miller

Amelia Martin Miller, 75, of Lake Charles passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014 in a local healthcare facility. Mrs. Miller was born July 21, 1939 in Carlyss, LA where she lived most of her life. She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Velma Pelloquin and husband Nathan of Sulphur; two sons, James Calvin Miller and wife Rebecca, of Iota, LA and Alvin Terry Miller of Sulphur, LA; three grandchildren, Jamie Lynn Authement, Ryan Wesley Jenkins and Garrett James Miller; two great-grandchildren, Gunner Drake Authement and Kaidence Elizabeth Jenkins and two sisters, Bessie Lee Carpenter and Ruby Ann Comeaux. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Mable King Martin; two brothers, Louis Martin, Jr. and Alex Martin; two sisters, Velma Lee Thibodeaux and Mary Louis Thibodeaux and one great-granddaughter, Chloe Jade Authement. In respect of Mrs. Millers wishes, cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
