Amy Catherine Draves Jokisch, 49, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2014. She's now at peace with the Angels. No more pain. Amy was born on April 9, 1965 in Minneapolis, MN. In 4th grade, she moved to Charlotte, NC where she graduated from Charlotte Catholic High School. After high school, Amy moved to Tacoma, WA where she received her Associates Degree in Human Resources. In 2003, Amy moved to Lake Charles and began her working career at Wal-Mart, ERA Helicopters, L'Auberge Casino and was currently working at the Isle of Capri Casino in Customer Service. Amy was a faithful employee and assisting her clients at the Casino was a job that she truly enjoyed. Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Frank and Caroline Draves of Lake Charles; daughter, Tracy Jokisch (Michael Gibbs) of Shreveport, LA; son, Travis Jokisch of Lake Charles; sister, Carrie Draves of Houston, TX; and brother, Frank Draves, Jr. and wife Deneen of Iowa, LA. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Ethan and Trey and nephew and niece, Tyler and Meagan Draves . A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 1, 2014 in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home. Father Bill Miller will officiate. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM on Monday. Memorial donations can be made to the Ethel Precht Hope Breast Cancer Foundation or the Hobo Hotel for Cats.
