Andrea Michelle Weldon

Andrea “Mickie” Weldon, 62, formerly of Cameron residing in DeQuincy, passed away on February 4, 2019 in a local hospital surrounded by her family. Andrea enjoyed being around her family, cooking, decorating cakes, and receiving treasures from estate sales from her baby sister. 

Mickie is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Doyle Weldon; two children, Doyle “Bear” W. Weldon, II and Tracie M. Weldon; 2 grandchildren, Haden M. Weldon and Landon B. LeDoux; 3 siblings, Rachel D. Watkins, Donavan (Stacey) Monceaux and Carlton Monceaux; 5 nieces; and 6 nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, LG “Bud” Watkins; mother, Marie Watkins; and sister, Tonia Watkins.

 Eulogy will be read by her nephew, Joshua Dahlen and pall bearers will be Jacob Dahlen, Jared Dahlen, Jason Weldon, Terrance Racca, Dovavan “T-Don” Monceaux, Nicholas Monceaux and Adam Monceaux.

 Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 10 A.M. Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel in Sulphur. Burial will be in Perkins Cemetery in DeQuincy under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 4-9 P.M. with a rosary at 6:30 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with visitation continuing on Saturday, February 9, at 8 A.M. until time of the service.
