Andrew Andy Darbonne

Mr. Andrew Andy Darbonne, Jr., 81, of Moss Bluff, Louisiana started his new life with Jesus on the morning of Saturday, July 27, 2013.

Mr. Darbonne was born on August 12, 1931 to the parents of Bathille and Deus Andrew Darbonne, Sr. in Elton, Louisiana. He was a 1948 graduate of Gillis High School. Mr. Darbonne has lived in Moss Bluff, Louisiana for the past 70 years. He worked as a self employed contractor working with Investment properties, rental properties and home remodeling for the past 30 years. Mr. Darbonne was a member of the Apostolic Temple Church in Lake Charles, he was also a member of the Home Builders Association. He loved spending time with his family and his church family. He also loved working around the yard.

Mr. Darbonne is survived by his wife of 51 years Mrs. Mary Anna Bohannon Darbonne, two daughters: Louisette Wing and husband John, and Francelle McKlemurry and husband Chris all of Moss Bluff, LA, two sons: Lenny Darbonne and wife Becky of Lake Charles, LA, and Christopher Darbonne and wife Sharla of Moss Bluff, LA, five grandchildren: Tiffany Pedigo, Elizabeth Ragsdale, Emily Wing, Cole McKlemurry, and Ryan McKlemurry, two great grandchildren: Parker Pedigo, and Tessa Ragsdale.

Mr. Darbonne is preceded in death by his parents Bathille and Deus Darbonne, Sr., four sisters: Thelma Armstead, Bertha Rais, Geraldine Fardeecy, and Cora Koonce, and one grandson, Jacob Wing.

His funeral will be held on Monday, July 29, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Apostolic Temple Church. Rev. Ricky Treece will officiate. Burial will be in Old Ritchie Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday at the Church. Visitation will continue on Monday at 8:00 AM until the time of services.
