Andrew "Andy" Jackson Tullos, 3Rd

October 14, 1955 — November 14, 2022

Andrew “Andy” Jackson Tullos, III was born October 14, 1955 in Shreveport, LA. He was one of five children born to Lola May and Jack Tullos.

The family owned and operated the Sheraton Chateau Charles and this was where Andy and his brothers learned the art of hospitality and hard work.

Upon graduation from St. Louis Catholic High School, Andy continued working in the food and hotel industry, finishing out his work career as a chef offshore. This position earned him many awards, being named Chef of the Year among his peers was one he was most proud of.

Andy’s greatest love, after his family, was hunting and fishing. His infectious smile and gracious personality ensured he never met a stranger. His family will best remember him for being a wonderful husband, father, brother, friend, and Big Daddy!

He passed peacefully, Monday, November 14, 2022 surrounded by his wife and daughter. Those who went before and welcomed him into Heaven were his parents and brother, Chef Eddie Tullos.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of almost thirty years, Eugenie; daughter, Mary Tullos and fiancé Joseph Dorta; step-daughter, Kate Cotten, and grandchildren, Magnolia June “Maggie”, Joseph Jackson, Reagan, and Nicholas; three brothers, Marshall (Margaret) Tullos of Dallas, TX, Kirk (Tammie) Tullos of Hogansville, GA, and John (Rhonda) Tullos of Shreveport, LA; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will have a celebration of his life at Toledo Bend on Saturday, November 19, 2022. Those interested in attending may reach out to the family for detailed information.
