Andrew Allen Kitchens, 37, of Sulphur passed away Sunday, January 12. He was a 2005 graduate of Sulphur High School. He earned national certification as a Crane Operator and put his skills to work at facilities across Louisiana and Texas for companies including Maxim Crane Works, Turner Industries, and most recently, Sarens USA. He was a member of Local 406 and worked along with Local 450 in Texas.
Even as a young child, Andrew was known for his quick wit and his ability to make people laugh. He was the life of the party, especially on the dance floor, at weddings and special events. His kind and giving spirit will live on through organ donation
Andrew is survived by two sons, Bryson and Brayden. The mother of his children, Julie Holmes Kitchens. His parents Jeff Kitchens and Rhonda Kitchens. His sisters, Sydney Fisher and husband Brandon and Ashley Stansel and husband, Hunter. His nieces and nephews, Austin, Oakley, Emma, Abbie, and Aiden, always knew the family get-togethers were going to be more fun when Uncle Andrew showed up. Andrew is also survived by his paternal grandparents, James and Linda Hall and maternal grandparents, Joseph and Carol Ann Comeaux.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Friday, January 17th, 2025, at Johnson Funeral Home in Sulphur, Pastor Randall Chesson will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of services on Friday, January 17th, 2025, at Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur. Burial will be at Mimosa Pines Cemetery South.
