It is with profound sadness that our family announces Andrew Will LeGros's passing on August 28, 2024. At home surrounded by family, our Heavenly Father welcomed him to his eternal home at the young age of 26.
Drew Legros, of Sulphur, has made a profound impact on the world since his grand entrance on May 7, 1998. With a heart of gold, Drew was deeply loved by many, and his presence brought warmth and positivity to everyone he encountered. Described as a true friend, he lived selflessly for others and walked with humility as a model of likeness in Christ.
Drew was a member of Prompt Succor Catholic Church where he attended school and continued his journey of faith. In his youth, he was a dedicated altar server and an active member of the CORE team, sharing God's love with others. Drew attended daily mass and was lifted up by his beloved ACT's brothers after making the Cathedral men's retreat this May.
As a cherished fourth-generation member of the Stine family, he continued the legacy of his grandfather in pursuing a career as the only fourth generation Stine. Drew was known for providing outstanding service to his customers. His exemplary work and commitment were evident in everything he did. He was honored as a Department Head Manager and Supervisor. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of working with him. Drew was dedicated to serving his community with great pride in his family. Drew's achievements reflect his commitment to both his professional and personal life, leaving a lasting legacy.
Drew had a natural curiosity about the world around him and an intense passion for learning. He enjoyed deer hunting with his father and loved ones where he thrived on his outdoor skills. He was a decorated knife collector and expert in history, science, religion and people. He loved making others laugh with his well-thought-out pranks while showing unconditional love with endearment and compassion.
With meekness and honesty, those who knew Drew were gifted with a friendship that was so unique that it is impossible to replace. Drew embodied simplicity, stoic grace and an unwavering sense of integrity. His patience and understanding made him a trusted confidant and a source of comfort for many. Drew's infectious smile and boundless enthusiasm for life left an indelible mark on everyone he met, making the world a brighter place. Drew treated friends like family and family like friends creating bonds that are stronger than most. He was an inspiration to those around him and will always be remembered for his kindness and generosity. He will be dearly missed.
Those left to cherish the memory of Drew are his mother and father, Kerri and Todd Ferguson; his sisters, Elyse LeGros and Callie Ann Ferguson; his beloved grandparents, Gary and his Godmother, Vickie Stine, Ronnie and Susie Ferguson; his Godfather and uncle Garrett (Chavanne) Stine, his uncle Troy Stine, and his uncle Ryan (Mikie) Ferguson; his numerous cousins and extended relatives; his beloved friends and many more that each held a special place in his heart. Drew was proceeded by his great-grandparents, J. W. and Dee Dee Stine; and his cousin, Holden William Stine.
