Andrew Mccoy Lambert

Andrew McCoy Lambert, 61, of Lake Charles was welcomed into Heaven Sunday, October 16, 2022 from the comfort of his home.

Mr. Lambert was a native of Lafayette, LA and lived most of his life in Lake Charles. He was a 1979 graduate of A.M. Barbe High School and United States Navy Corpsman.  He always loved to read, study history and keep up with current events.  Mr. Lambert enjoyed meeting people and never met a stranger.  He will be remembered for his love for his mother, his family and talking with his brothers.

He leaves to honor his memory, his mother, Nona Joyce “Jody” Lambert of lake Charles; two brothers, Alan Lambert (Kelly) and Lane Lambert (Chris); nieces and nephews, Wyatt, Maddie, Jack, Caleb and Ricky; cousin, Douglas Hansen and closest friends, William LeBleu and Ray DeJean.

He was preceded in death by his father, Aubrey McCoy Lambert.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, October 21, 2022 in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home.  Reverend Steve Shirley will officiate.  Interment services will follow at Prien Memorial Park. A memorial gathering Friday will be from 1:00 PM until the time of service in the funeral home.
