Anna Jean Vaussine

Anna Jean Vaussine, 91, of Sulphur passed away on July 14, 2018 in her residence surrounded by her family.  She was a member of Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. Anna enjoyed sewing, cooking, music and dancing. She especially loved spending time with her family.

Anna is survived by her 3 daughters, Margaret Sprague (Wendell) of OK, Mary Kate Corbello (Yopie) of AR, and Melba Thibodeaux (Clifford) of LA; 2 sons, Rudy P. Vaussine (Charlene) and Luke Vaussine both of LA; 18 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; sister, Betty Sonnier; brother, Wilford “Freak” Sonnier; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Armand ‘Tee Tee” Vaussine; parents, John and Sylvia Sonnier; 2 sons, Odrey Jeff Vaussine; and Mitchell Lynn Vaussine; daughter, Dianna Patricia Istre; 3 brothers; and 3 sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 2 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with Bro. Arvin Harrell officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 18 at the funeral home from  10 A.M. till time of the service. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
