Anna Mae Laughlin

Anna Mae Meyer Laughlin, 92, of Lake Charles left us to be with Jesus on Monday, September 10, 2012 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Laughlin was born on March 23, 1920 in Houston, TX.

She is survived by one sister, Edna Earl Fluegel of Houston, TX and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen F. Laughlin; three sons, Craig Laughlin and B.J. and Larry Wied; as well as three sisters and three brothers.

Many thanks are extended to those who watched over her during her last years including her doctors and staff at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 14, 2012 at South Park Cemetery in Pearland, TX where she will rest along side with her husband, children, and other family members. The Rev. John Mark Benson will officiate. Arrangements were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles, LA.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to the Salvation Army of Lake Charles, LA.
