Anna Rose Kershaw

Anna Rose Kershaw, 67, of Lake Charles, LA died at 12:23 AM on Monday, October 21, 2013 in a local hospital. Ms. Kershaw was born May 16, 1946 in Breaux Bridge, LA and lived in Lake Charles, LA most of her life. She graduated from Cecilia High School and attended McNeese State University. She enjoyed sewing, beading, and spending time with her grandchild, Blake Noah Baham. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother and a wonderful friend to all. Ms. Kershaw is survived by her children, Glenn Kershaw and wife Gayle, Keith Kershaw of Houston, TX, Alan Kershaw of Houston, TX, and Crystal Baham and husband Michael of Denham Springs, LA; husband and best friend, Jerome Fontenot of Lake Charles; sisters, Janice Broderick of Ruston, VA and Linda Osterberger of St. Francisville, LA; father of her children, Larry Kershaw and his wife, Delores of Lake Charles, LA; Godchild, Christy Cormier; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Cecil Kershaw. Her funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Ronnie Estes will officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and continue on Wednesday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
