Annabelle Parker Majeski, 85, of Lake Charles, LA, died on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 in a local care facility.
Mrs. Majeski was born August 21, 1934 in Lake Charles, LA, where she was a lifelong resident. She was an active member of Heritage Baptist Church and also attended Church of the King. Earlier in her life, she enjoyed needlework and had a love of visiting with friends, watching TV, cooking, and going for a ride, but her true passion in life was always for her family.
Mrs. Majeski is survived by her son, Roger Dale Parker and wife Sally of Sulphur, LA; daughters, Carolyn Parker Bertrand and husband Tim of Lake Charles and Anna Parker Guidry and husband Aaron of LeBleu Settlement; brothers, Jackie Kelly of Dallas, TX and Ralph Kelly of Lake Charles; grandchildren, Henry Paul Parker, Delina Frederick, Eric Bellard, Jody Parker, Jamie Parker, Brandon Hagan, Andie Spell, and Taylor Spell; a host of great-grandchildren; and her good friend at Grand Cove, Glenda Mallet.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Robert Parker; last husband, Norman J. Majeski; two daughters, Donna Ruth Parker and Debra Sue Parker; and brothers, Jimmy Kelly, Ronald Kelly, Joel Kelly, and Kenneth Kelly.
Her funeral service will be held at 12:30 PM on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend. Shane Kastler will officiate. Burial will follow in Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff. A gathering of family members and friends will be on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the start of the service.
