Anne Papa Manka

Anne Margaret Papa Manka, 80, of Lake Charles, LA, died at 1:20 AM on Saturday, August 4, 2018 in a local hospital.

Ms. Manka was born August 20, 1937 in Hammond, IN, lived in Vacaville, CA for a number of years and resided in Lake Charles, LA for the past nine years. She was an avid sports fan, loved bowling and was a member of the 250 Club. Her pride and joy was her daughter and her grandson, as she enjoyed baking for them daily.

Ms. Manka is survived by her daughter, Sharon Manka; grandson, Gavin Bertrand, both of Lake Charles; brother, Richard Papa and wife Linda of Glendale, AZ; and sisters, Jean Lebryk of Munster, IN and Judith Clark and husband Howard of Marietta, GA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Margaret Papa.

Her cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
