Anthony Bellard

Tony Bellard of Lake Charles passed away from this life on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at the age of 53 after a short illness. He was a supervisor and machinist for Dubois Sheet Metal being able to fabricate and create a variety of equipment. Tony enjoyed, hunting, motorcycle riding, and cooking, specializing in making his own boudin and sausage made with equipment that he made himself. He had a heart of gold, helping anyone that was in need. His wife, children, and grandchildren were the loves of his life and he will be greatly missed. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 35 years Beverly Doucet Bellard of Lake Charles; children, Nichole Matherne (Steve) of New Orleans, Ashleigh Bellard of Lake Charles, and Brittany Bellard (Brian Newman) of Lake Charles; grandchildren Jordan Bellard, Mia Matherne, Braydan Bellard, Grant Matherne, and Zane Bellard; mother, Amy Bellard of Lake Charles; siblings, Richard Bellard (Darlene) of Shreveport, Antoinette "Tonette" Lovette (Doc) of Shreveport, Chester "Burt" Bellard (Tammy) of Moss Bluff, Becky LaFleur (David) of Big Lake, and Susan Alfred (Kevin) of Carencro. Tony is preceded in death by his father Chester Bellard. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home (4321 Lake Street) from 5:00pm until 9:00pm with Rosary at 6:00pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home from 10:00am until Funeral Service at 2:30pm officiated by Reverend William Miller.
