Anthony Tony Joseph Quattrone, 89 passed away on August 7, 2013 in a local hospital. He was born on January 11, 1924 in Buffalo, New York. Tony married Kathryn Louise Serice in 1946 and together they had five children. He was an avid hunter and traveled to New Mexico and Colorado for over 15 years to enjoy the sport. Tony was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. His friends meant the world to him. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force for three years as an aviation cadet in 1943-1946, was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and devoted his time to assisting the Sulphur Police in transporting trustees to various locations assigned. Tony is survived by his five children, 3 sons, Joseph Anthony Quattrone and wife, Carol of Baton Rouge, LA , George David Quattrone and wife, Lori of San Diego, CA, and Dr. Timothy Lee Quattrone and wife, Cindy of Lafayette, LA; two daughters, Jamie Claire Quattrone of Sulphur and Linda K. Graham and husband, Gary of Lake Charles; brother, Joseph Quattrone of Steubenville, OH; sister, Virginia Kovall of Steubenville, OH; 7 grandchildren, and 4 step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Quattrone; parents, Joseph and Agnes Quattrone; brother, Edward Quattrone; 2 sisters, Madeline Bruzzese and Agnes Barilla. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 1 pm at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with Deacon Maurice Serice officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 10, 2013 from 9am at the funeral home with a prayer service starting at 11am. Visitation will continue after prayer service until time of the service. Pall bearers will be Ryan Graham, Jonathan Graham, Justin Quattrone, Lee Quattrone, Gary Graham and Randy Serice.
