April Michelle Young

April Michelle Young, 36, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 in her home.  April was a 2000 graduate of Sulphur High School.  She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend.  April loved to read in her spare time.  Many who knew her said she was a free spirit. 

April is survived by her children, Ethan,  Olivia and Charlie; her father, Blake Young and wife Anna; her mother, Melony Abshire and Billy Abshire; her siblings, Tiffany, Amy, Bryce, Joey, Daniel, Cameron and Colin; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur from 4-9 PM with a rosary being recited at 6 PM.  Visitation will resume on Friday morning at the funeral home at 9 AM until the time of service.  Services for April will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur at 11 AM with Pastors Vince and Bridget Guidry officiating.  Burial will follow in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly, LA.
