Archie Leroy Berry

Archie Leroy Berry, 82, of Starks, LA passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.

Archie was born on January 29, 1939, in Big Woods, LA to Archie and Nellie Berry. He enjoyed fishing, shrimping, and yardwork throughout his life. He also enjoyed vacationing and camping with family and was a deacon and a member of Magnolia Baptist Church and will always be known and cherished as a great family man.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 56 years, Amanda Caswell Berry; three daughters, Donna Landry, Telly Taylor, and Joyce Bell and husband Jason; 7 grandchildren, Malari Doucet, Paeton Landry, Macie Riddick, Amanda Green, Madison Bell, Brett Bell, and Gracelynn Taylor; 7 great grandchildren, Chance Guidry, Kayden Landry, Keiven Guidry, Crew Riddick, Cash Riddick, Waylon Green, and Wrigley Green; 3 brothers, David Berry, Tom Berry, Charles Berry and ; and one sister, Barbara Jensen.

Archie is preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Nellie Berry; one brother, Wallace Berry; and one sister, Doris Braneff.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with visitation starting at 3:00 PM.  Cremation will follow services.
