Arthur Anthony Pardo, Jr.

Arthur Anthony “Art” Pardo, Jr., 82, went home to be with the Lord on July 26, 2022 with his family by his side. 

Arthur was born in St. Louis, MO, on November 13, 1939.  In 1956 he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he proudly served his country.

On June 3, 1961, he married the love of his life, Vivian Theresa Leaggo of Lake Charles in  St. Louis, MO.  They then moved to Lake Charles in 1977 where they owned and operated a local printing company for over 30 years until retirement in 2009.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Vivian Theresa Pardo; brother, Eugene Pardo (Jan) of Chesterfield, MO; children, Anthony Pardo and Steve Pardo of Lake Charles, Christine Pardo of New York, and Elizabeth Hebert (Joe) of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Melanie Pardo, Doron Pardo, Paul Pardo, Clint Moseley, and Taylor Pardo; five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Anthony Pardo, Sr. and Josephine Grzyb Pardo; son, Michael Andre Pardo; and sisters, Dorothy Chipp and Evelyn Manetas.

Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.  A private family service was held.
