Arthur C. Aguillard

Arthur C. Aguillard, 67, died Wednesday, June 6, 2012.

Born to Clarence and Lizzie Kibodeaux Aguillard, Mr. Aguillard was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles. He was a carpenter by trade and loved spending time with his family and friends. Fishing and hunting, cooking, and dancing to French music were some of his favorite pastimes. He was an avid New Orleans Saints fan.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Tony Aguillard and wife Cathy, Samantha Mott and Lisa LeLeaux, all of Lake Charles; siblings, Lois Jones, Germaine Welch and husband Andy, Lenette Stoma and husband Fred, Russell Aguillard and wife Jeanette, all of Lake Charles, and Delores Viator and husband Ted of Atlanta; seven grandchildren, Chase Aguillard, Brittany McDaniel and husband Will, Micka Williams, Corey Mott, Tyler LeLeaux, Allison Aguillard, and Austin Aguillard; one great grandchild, Noah Williams; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Johnson Funeral Home. Msgr. Charles DuBois will officiate. Burial will be at Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 3 until 9 p.m., with a rosary at 6 p.m., and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time.
