Arthur Neal Broussard

Arthur “Art” Neal Broussard, 36, of passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022, in Austin, Texas.

Arthur was born in West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital on September 13, 1985. He was baptized and raised in Henning Memorial United Methodist Church. Art was an Acolyte and participated in mission trips to San Antonio and Peru.  Art could always be seen at SPAR ballfields; where he played soccer, baseball, basketball, and golf. He was a member of the 2003 SHS golf team and a 2003 graduate of Sulphur High School. He proudly served his country for 6 years in the United States Air Force, and actively served in the Afghanistan War.  He has been residing in Austin, Texas for the last 3 years and was employed as a Chef. Arthur loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was a dedicated father, and his children were his world. He will be remembered for his kindness, gentle nature, and his love for his children. 

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Emmy Neal Broussard, Asher Flynn Broussard, Trace Matthew Broussard, and Hadlee Michele Broussard all of Sulphur; his father Rene` Broussard of Sulphur; mother, Judy Allen Broussard of Florien; and the mother of his children, Sarah Michele Janise Broussard of Sulphur. He will be greatly missed by his aunts and uncles, Michelle Broussard Honick of Nashville, Denise M. Broussard Frey of Cypress, TX, Remy Broussard of Toomey, Justin Broussard of Toomey, Charlotte Broussard Peterson of Liberty, TX, Jacques Broussard of Sulphur, Kathy Allen of Ohio, Barbie Allen Loufman of Ohio, and Craig Allen of Ohio; numerous cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Aaron Broussard; paternal grandparents, Charles Coy and Norma Jolene Broussard; and maternal grandparents, Nason and Margaret Allen.

A memorial service to celebrate Arthur’s life will be held 6pm, Thursday, May 12, 2022, in Johnson & Robison Funeral Home of Sulphur. A gathering of family and friends will be held 4 – 6pm Thursday.  Words of comfort and memories may be shared with the family at www.robisonfuneralhome.com

In lieu of flowers, a love offering can be made to his children and may be sent to Sarah Broussard, 1802 Honeysuckle Lane, Sulphur, LA 70663. Addressed envelopes will be available at the funeral home. 

The family would like to encourage everyone to wear something camouflage to honor Art's passion for the outdoors. (Dress like your going hunting)
