Arthur "Wayne" Achter

Arthur” Wayne” Achter,77, of Moss Bluff, LA passed away on April 29, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.

Wayne was born on November 16, 1942 to Arthur and Mora Achter in Barnhart, MO. He enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR racing, and most of all riding horses while enjoying the great outdoors. Arthur retired from many years of service from Turner Industries, Olin Industries, and Westlake Chemical.

 He is survived by his loving wife of 9 years, Jane Achter of Moss Bluff, LA; one child Shelly Pizano and husband Javier; three children, Quentin Arabie, Brent Arabie, and Tammy Kellogg; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Those preceded in death are his parents; one granddaughter, Megan Lynn Merrow; and his 1^st wife, Betty Mae Achter.

 A private graveside service will be held 10:00 A.M.  Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Mimosa Pines North Cemetery under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
