Ashley May Bowling

Ashley Nicole May Bowling was born August 6, 1992 in Lake Charles where she was a lifelong resident.

She studied nursing at Sowela Technical School. She is best known for her fun-loving nature, infectious smile, and the devotion she had to her children, family and closest friends. She loved spending time with her family, trips to the beach, and bringing laughter to those around her.

She was welcomed into Heaven by her maternal grandmother, Mary Fontenot May.

Those left to cherish her memory and spirit are her children, Isaac Wayne Lee Bowling, Eli Lee Wayne Bowling and Noah James Bowling; her father, Kenneth Mark May and fiancé, Lisa of Moss Bluff, LA; mother, Angela Marie Gerbine of Farmington Hills, MI; two sisters, Danielle Monique May and Sarah Michelle May; two brothers, Ashton Blake May and Lucas James May; her paternal grandfather who was her life, Kenneth Wayne May of Bellaire, TX; maternal grandparents, Perry Lee Gerbine of Cleburne, TX and Nora Cormier Gerbine of Dry Creek, LA; her closest cousins, Jonathan and Jenny Lyons; two aunts, Christine May Hoggatt (Bob) and April May Najolia (Joby) and two uncles, Stoney Gerbine and Archie Gerbine.

The family will welcome friends at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm.  A celebration of her life led by Reverend Weldon Barres will begin at 4:00 pm.
