Ashley Miranda Breaux

Ashley Miranda Breaux, 37, currently of Houston gained her angel wings on Thursday, March 12, 2015 in her residence. Ashley was born on June 22, 1977 in Lake Charles, LA where she was a 1995 graduate of Barbe High School. She furthered her education while attending LSUE, McNeese State University, and graduated from Ultrasound Diagnostic School in Houston, Texas with a Bachelor of Science as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. Ashley was a sorority sister with Phi Mu at McNeese. Ashley began her career at Acadiana Maternal Fetal Medicine in Lafayette, LA before moving to Houston and working at the Texas Children's Hospital/Baylor University. She was then employed in California at the Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center at The University of Southern California. Ashley was currently working back in Houston for the Texas Fetal Center at The University of Texas Houston Health Science Center. She was a devoted catholic and volunteered at several churches including St. Ann Catholic Church and All Saints Catholic Church both in Houston. Ashley was an angel on earth with a generous heart and touched so many lives devoting her life saving so many precious babies. She enjoyed spending time with her girlfriends, family and her two cats, Leo and Linus, all whom she loved and cherished dearly. Those left to cherish her memory are her father, Ronnie Breaux of Sweetlake; a sister, Tessie Breaux Guillory of Lake Charles; a niece, Cameron Guillory and a nephew, Austin Guillory both of Lake Charles; and her grandmother, Lillian Breaux of Sweetlake. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elydia "Sue" Crochet Breaux and her grandparents, Agnes and Milton Crochet and Lyon Breaux. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Monsignor Harry Greig will officiate. Burial will follow in Sweetlake-Grand Lake Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Monday in the funeral home from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 6:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until leaving for the church at 10:00 AM.
