Ashton Logan

Jessie Ashton Logan, 84, of Sulphur passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021.

Ashton was born in South Carolina, and proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was an owner/operator and retired after 40 years of driving 18 wheelers. Ashton was outgoing and never met a stranger; he thoroughly enjoyed his “retirement” job in customer service and loved his Kroger family.  He lived life to the fullest, loved being the center of attention, and jumped at the chance to be included in photos. Ashton will be remembered for his contagious smile and laugh; but most of all, the great love he shared with his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 57 years, Alice Logan; four children, Michael Logan of Monroe, LA; Christy Tate (Tommy) of Scott, LA; Tonya Sonnier (Jessie) of Orange, TX; Jessica Badon (Richard) of Sulphur; grandchildren, Michael Logan, Jr., Anicia Logan, Brittney Logan, Justin Billiot (Jessica); Heather Billiot (Josh Daigle), Garett Billiot (Laken), Ashton Boudreaux (Maggie), Tabitha Harrington, Kevin Harrington, Blake Badon (Santana), Cade Badon, Logan Badon, Khloe’ Badon, and Jax Badon; great grandchildren, Eva, Cameron, Gavin, Hailey, Aubrey, Parker, Khourey, Jimmie, Jackson, Miller, Landry, Elodie, Olivia, Marley, Amelia, Ridge, Karter, Tinsley and Genevieve; and his sister, Betty Bishop.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Blackwell, and Carolyn Winck; and his lifelong friend and “brother at heart”, Cecil Browder, Sr.

Ashton’s life will be celebrated at 10 am, Saturday, April 24, 2021 in Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Cecil Browder, Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow at Mimosa Pines Cemetery South of Carlyss. Visitation will be 5 – 8pm, Friday in the funeral home and resume 8 am – 10 am.

Pallbearers will be Michael Logan, Jr., Anica Logan, Justin Billiot, Garett Billiot, Ashton Boudreaux, Kevin Harrington, Blake Badon, Cade Badon and Logan Badon.
