Audrey Josephine Granger

Audrey Josephine Granger, 74, of Lake Charles, died Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at a local hospital after an extended illness.

Audrey was a native of Cameron Parish, and was the daughter of the late Claude and Hortense Conner Eagleson. A member of the catholic faith, she was a homemaker and a receptionist for Dr. Joe Soileau, DVM for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Shirley Chesson and Roberta Richard. Those left to honor and cherish her memory are two sons, Jeff Granger and wife Mary Jane, Big Lake and Lloyd Granger and wife Toni, Baton Rouge; one daughter, Katrina Taylor, Lake Charles; brother, Larry Eagleson; three sisters, Margaret Saltzman and husband Floyd, Grand Lake, Yvonne Mire and husband Wendell, and Karen Badeaux, New Orleans; three grandchildren, Marshall Granger, Heather Kennon, and Matthew Granger; and one great-grandchild, Ethan Kennon.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM Saturday November 17, 2012. A Rosary will be recited at 1:30 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM, all at Johnson Funeral Home. Deacon George Carr will officiate. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens in Lake Charles.
