Auray Thibodeaux

Auray Thibodeaux, 90, of Lake Charles, passed away on Thursday August 31, 2017 at a local hospital after an extended illness.

Auray was a native of Grand lake and a longtime resident of Lake Charles. He was a retired Pipefitter and member of the Pipefitter’s local 106. Auray honorably and faithfully served our country in the United States Army during World War II He was of the Catholic Faith and a longtime member of St. Margaret Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maudrey Vellion Thibodeaux; parents, Adam and Elodie Thibodeaux; four brothers, Alcide, Louis, Lloyd, and Clarence, six sisters, Theresa Cormier, Aline Duhon, Mary Newman, Leah Delaney, Bernice Duhon and Eula Manuel. He is survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday September 2, 2017 at the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 12:40 PM. A Rosary will be recited at 12:40. Burial will be alongside his beloved wife at Consolata Cemetery.
