SWEET ANGEL, AVERY GOSS

Avery Goss passed peacefully in the arms of family on January 10, 2013. She was born at 3:28 a.m. and went home to Jesus only moments after her arrival. At 9 1/2 inches long and weighing only 11 ounces, she was a beautiful resemblance of her mother and displayed the strength of her father. She will forever be remembered as their beautiful angel while she goes to prepare the way for mommy and daddy.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her parents, Derek Goss and Melissa Wylie, of Moss Bluff; paternal grandparents Alicia Allee of Moss Bluff; Sam and Joani Goss of Lacassine; maternal grandparents, Ronald and Jean Wylie of Saint Augustine, FL; paternal great-grandparents Shirley Ross and Shirley Sue Goss of Orange, TX; maternal grandmother Lina Crockett of Hunnigton, WV and also numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her paternal great-grandparents Ivy Joe and Sandra Strickland; maternal great-grandparents, Billy and Gloria Wylie; and maternal grandfather Henry Crockett.

Johnson Funeral Home will hold a private burial for family on Wednesday January 16, 2013 at Westlake Memorial Park Cemetery. Thoughts and prayers for the family are appreciated as they face this difficult time.

For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well

The world may never notice if a rosebud doesn't bloom or even pause to wonder if the petals fall too soon, but every life that ever forms or ever comes to be touches the world in some small way for all eternity. The little one we longed for was swiftly here and gone, but the love that was then planted is a light that still shines on and though our arms are empty or hearts know what to do, every beating of our heart says We will remember you.
