Bambi Ann Morgan Hebert, 67, of Lake Charles, LA, died at 8:45 AM on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 in a local care facility. Mrs. Hebert was born on July 7, 1947 in Lake Charles, LA, where she lived most of her life. She worked at LA Radio for seventeen years as the Parts Manager, retiring three years ago. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Lake Charles, where she was the singles leader, taught Sunday school, and was a teacher at Lake City Christian Academy. She enjoyed crocheting and bowling and previously played on a league. She will always be remembered as a sassy woman with a heart of gold. She loved to talk with others and witnessed to everyone about God. Mrs. Hebert is survived by son, Gary Hebert and wife Melissa of Lake Charles; daughter, Kathy Merriman and husband Rev. Kevin Merriman of Ragley; grandchildren, Andy Merriman and wife Maria, Brent Merriman, Kaila Hebert, Ricky Hebert, and Brianna Merriman; great-grandson, Liam; two brothers; three sisters; and a host of other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Thomas Hebert; parents, Ernest and Virginia Morgan; and two brothers. Her funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at First Pentecostal Church. Reverend Jeffery Ralston and a host of others will officiate. Her private burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Johnson Funeral Home on Saturday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and continue on Sunday from 5:00 PM until the start of the service at the church.
