Barbara Ann Arceneaux

November 13, 1932 — July 30, 2015

Barbara Ann Arceneaux,82 passed away on July 30, 2015 in a local hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was a chartered member of Wesley United Methodist Church. Barbara was an elementary teacher for several schools including D. S. Perkins Elementary and E. K. Key Elementary, retiring after 20 plus years. She enjoyed camping with her husband, gardening and reading. Barbara loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and will be greatly missed by all. Barbara is survived by her husband of 58 years, "Billy" Arceneaux, her son, William Arceneaux and wife Belinda, and her daughter, Janet Arceneaux all of Sulphur; 4 grandchildren, Jenni Bolduc and husband Matthew of OH, Jason Peoples and wife Arica of CO, Brad Arceneaux and wife Terri of Sulphur, and Brandy Arnold and husband David of Zachery; and 3 great granddaughters, Alexis Arnold, Aria Peoples, and Sadie Arceneaux; and her loving dog, Bailey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dovie Barnes Montgomery and Louis Ottis Montgomery; and 3 brothers, Monty Montgomery, George Montgomery, and Roger Dale Montgomery. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 10 A.M. at Wesley United Methodist Church in Sulphur with Rev. Brad Swire and Rev. Blair Montgomery officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 2, 2015 from 5-8 P.M. at Wesley United Methodist Church. Visitation will continue on Monday at the church at 8 A.M. till time of the service.
