Barbara Ann Atile Pichadou Fitzgerald

Barbara Ann Atile Pichadou Fitzgerald passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024. She was born in Lake Charles, LA on November 1, 1947.

Barbara graduated from La Grange High School then attended McNeese State University. She received a bachelors in Nursing and began working at various hospitals in Lake Charles and New Orleans. She also had a passion for teaching and mentoring. Some of her most rewarding moments were reuniting with past students and sharing in their professional accomplishments.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Nicole Ann Atile “Nikki” Davis (Paul); her grandchildren, Zachary Davis, Mackenzie Davis and Andrew Davis.

Barbara lived for her grandchildren. She loved attending their games and performances. They were her pride and joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents Elverna Cecil Bergeron Pichadou and Pierre Francis Pichadou; and sister, Carolyn Pichadou Moore and her husband Lee.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Johnson Funeral Home, 4321 Lake Street, Lake Charles, LA 70605 on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 1:00 PM with visitation on Wednesday beginning at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, Lake Charles, LA.
