Barbara Ann Delhommer

November 7, 1943 — November 25, 2020

Barbara Ann Jackson Delhommer, 77, of Moss Bluff passed away Wednesday November 25, 2020 at home with her loved ones.

Mrs. Delhommer was a lifelong resident of the Lake Charles area.  She was a graduate of LaGrange High School.  She was both creative and gifted with many talents.  Having owned a local florist, University Flower Shop, she shared a love of flowers and plants with her sister and worked many years alongside her.  She enjoyed writing music and poetry, collecting, flower frogs.  Mrs. Delhommer also enjoyed making jewelry for family and friends and display at arts and craft fairs.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She will be remembered as a lady of faith and prayer.  Mrs. Delhommer was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Stewart Wayne Buller and Charles C. Buller, Sr., of Moss Bluff; four grandchildren, Charles Casey Buller, Jr., Robert Wayne Buller (Lauren), Kirby Forrest Buller, Sara Dawn Fontenot (Tylor), Meiah Buller, Jeremy Buller, Mason Buller, Bella Buller, Samantha Burlett and Tabitha Taylor; eight great-grandchildren, Klara Lynn and Grace Elizabeth Buller, Tylor Casey and Reid Wayne Fontenot, Brentley, Kylynn and Lindley Burlett and Lexie Dunham; one brother, Charles “T-man” Jackson, Jr. (Susan); four sisters, Frances Fogleman (Randy), Kathy Alley (Paul), Ginger Sonnier and Becky Gray (Ron); nine nieces and nephews; twelve great nieces and nephews; one step-daughter, Tonya Tayer (Sam) and former daughter-in-law, Tomarro Dawn Milburn (Derek).

She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly thirty years, Curtis J. Delhommer and her parents, Charles and Virginia Jackson of Lake Charles.

Her caregivers and family wish to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Zhang and Dr. Chang, Amedisys Hospice, their nurses and staff, as well as all who contributed to carrying out Mrs. Delhommer’s last wishes.

Funeral services will be at 11:30 AM Tuesday, December 1st, 2020 at St. Theodore Catholic Church in Moss Bluff under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.  Father Andrew DeRouen will officiate.  Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens.  Visitation Tuesday will be from 10:30 AM until the time of service in the church.

John Aubrey Foreman

John Aubrey Foreman, Sr., 79, of Lake Charles passed away Friday, November 27, 2020 in Opelousas, LA.

Mr. Foreman was a 1959 graduate of LaGrange High School and retired from Vista Chemical.  He enjoyed fishing, dancing to Cajun French music and was a member of the CFMA for many years.  He was often the life of the party with a welcoming, friendly spirit that brightened the room and brought smiles to those around him.  Mr. Foreman will be remembered for his kind, caring heart and his love and devotion to his family.

He leaves to honor his memory, three children, Sheila Foreman of Lake Charles, John Foreman, Jr. Ret. TSgt, AF (Song) of San Antonio, TX and Angie Granger (Derrick) of Lake Charles; five grandchildren, Jennifer Drummond (David) of Hattiesburg, MS, Ashley Hackler (Ryan) of Sulphur, Brittany Granger of Hattiesburg, MS, Cassondra Foreman of San Antonio, TX and Susanna Foreman of San Marcos, TX; five great grandchildren, Kaylee, Kamree and Kole Drummond, Wyatt and Ava Hackler, and his dear friend and dance partner, Jane Newman of Lake Charles.

He was preceded in death by his wife of forty-eight years, Blanche Logue Foreman; his parents, John Elridge Foreman and Doveda Hoffpauir Foreman; one brother and six sisters.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Friday, December 04, 2020 at University Baptist Church under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Reverend Phil Carpenter will officiate.  Interment will follow in Prien Memorial Park.  Visitation Friday will be from 1:30 PM until the time of service in the church.

In accordance with state regulations, attendees for visitation and services are respectfully asked to wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines.
