Barbara Ann Duhon

Barbara Ann Duhon passed away July 18, 2021 in a local hospital at the age of 80. 

She was born on August 25, 1940 in Lake Charles to Castle C. and Lydia Guillory Cohron.  She was a graduate of LaGrange High School in Lake Charles.  She also graduated from McNeese State University in Nursing, where she began her life journey in service to others.

Those left to cherish her memory are, her children, Kim LeBlanc (Johnny) Moss Bluff, Tony Duhon of Lake Charles, and Regina Pihlgren (Bill) of Lake Charles; the father of her children, Reginald Duhon of Lake Charles, LA; four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Michael Bryan Duhon, and her brother, Castle C. Cohron, Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Thursday, July 22, 2021 at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church.  Msgr. Jace Eskind will preside.  Inurnment will be in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home at a later date.  Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service, with a rosary being recited at 12:00 Noon.  A gathering of family and friends after the funeral mass will be held at The Head Shoppe, located at 3113 Ryan Street.
