Barbara Ann Leithhead

Barbara Ann Leithead, 75, of Lake Charles passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at a local hospital. Mrs. Leithead was born in Bell City, LA on July 5, 1938 to Preston and Trunie Landry. She has lived in Lake Charles most of her life and graduated from LaGrange High School in 1956. She is grounded in her Catholic faith and loves to play Bingo. Those left to cherish her memory are her four sons, Edward "Taco" Sonnier of Lake Charles, Dennis Sonnier and wife Debbie of Sulphur, Scott Sonnier and wife De of Moss Bluff and Greg Sonnier and wife Sonia of Beaumont, TX; one brother, Paul Larry Landry and wife Dez of Elton, LA; ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Gerald Landry; one sister Gloria Sanford; first husband Raymond Sonnier and second husband T.J. Leithead. A private graveside will be held at a later date. Cremation services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
